I read every message. The fastest way to report a tracking problem is the in-app Report Issue button, which attaches recent diagnostics so I can see what happened.

Common Questions

How does automatic tracking work?

Mileager watches for driving in the background and records the trip for you. For this to work, grant Location set to Always with Precise Location on, Motion & Fitness, Background App Refresh, and Notifications. You can change these any time in iOS Settings.

Do I have to use automatic tracking?

No. Manual trip entry, review, and report export all work without background location. Add a missed trip by hand and Mileager looks up the route for you.

How do I export a report?

Open Reports, pick a month, and export it as a PDF or CSV. You can also export a single trip as a PDF. Use these when you file taxes or invoice a client.

Is my data private?

Yes. Trips are stored on your device. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no company server holding your location history. If you turn on iCloud sync, your data is mirrored only to your own private iCloud through your Apple Account. See the Privacy Policy for details.

What is App Lock?

App Lock keeps Mileager behind Face ID, Touch ID, or your device passcode. Turn it on in Settings.

Can I sync across devices?

Yes, optionally. Turn on iCloud sync in Settings and your trips sync across your Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account.

How do I delete my data?

Delete individual trips in the app, or use Reset App in Settings to remove local data and attempt to remove Mileager data from iCloud.

A Note on Accuracy

Mileager is a recordkeeping tool, not tax advice. Automatic tracking, GPS, and route lookup can miss, duplicate, or misjudge a trip, so review your trips before you rely on a report. Consult a qualified tax professional for tax filings, reimbursement claims, or audits. See the Terms and Accuracy Notice for the full statement.
