Warehouse Photography for DSV
DSV has been investing in advanced warehouses with specialty services for luxury brands. They hired me to make a library of images of these specialty services at one of their flagship warehouses in New Jersey. They found me from my extensive experience in industrial photography around New England and New York.
With a small team from the design department and local management we were able to make a large library of photographs in one day. We added on a day for scouting the photography locations which helped me and the client see what was feasible, and what would require another shoot at a different location.
We were able to use the local talent as subjects, use my mobile lighting rig, and have previews of the photos on my laptop as we were photographing.

DSV is a Danish-based global leader in transport and logistics. Founded in 1976 by a group of independent haulers in Denmark, the company has grown significantly, largely through acquisitions, to become one of the world’s largest logistics providers. DSV maintains a vast global network, with offices and facilities in more than 80 countries, and a workforce of approximately 75,000 employees. This extensive reach allows them to serve a wide range of industries, from small family-run businesses to large global corporations, across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, Africa, and the Asia-Pacific region.
DSV’s services are structured into three main divisions: Air & Sea, Road, and Solutions. The company offers comprehensive freight forwarding by air, sea, and road, as well as courier and project transport for non-standard cargo. A key part of their offering is contract logistics through their “Solutions” division, which provides warehousing, inventory management, fulfillment, and other value-added services. DSV operates on an “asset-light” model, meaning it does not own ships or planes and owns a relatively small fleet of trucks, which provides flexibility in a dynamic global market.
